Today I went to Lowes Foods with a very small shopping list...however I had a little extra time, so I decided to look around for unadvertised deals...I was surprised how much I found for such a good price!! I decided to go a little more in-depth with this post and created this chart which lists the item, the sale price, the coupons I used, and the final price. I thought this would give you guys a little more insight into what it is I do. So here is everything I got....

Out of Pocket: $23.88
PLUS…I got back $2 off my next purchase from the Catalina machine!
REMEMBER, Lowes Foods doubles coupons (20 per day) with a face value under $0.99. Which means any coupon that says $0.99 off or less will be doubled!!!!! That’s how you catch you best deals!! Also make sure you coupon does not say “DO NOT DOUBLE”, these coupons will NOT be doubled.
I had a small problem with the Deer Park coupons, for some reason the computer kept kicking them out saying the coupon was for more than the purchase…but since the coupon said you had to buy 2 to get $1 off, the cashier was allowed by management to manually put in the coupon, because at 89 cents a piece, 2 was obviously over $1.
Let me add this, I must agree with one statement I heard on TLC's Extreme Couponing last night...you need to "shop" for a cashier. I went to the sweetest little old man's line today, he was excited to see all my coupons. But bless his heart, it took me forever to get checked out (which I honestly didn't mind, I was in no rush today.) So if you are in a hurry look for those young guys at the register, they are friendlier and a lot faster.
All in all, I'd say this was a successful trip!!
Thanks for reading!
God Bless & Happy Couponing!
