Woohoo for BIG Savings!!!

At least once a week I like to take a couple hours of mommy time.  I leave my boys (husband & son) at home and take off for a little coupon therapy!  Today I must say I've done the best I've ever done!  I made three stops: Walgreens, Food Lion, & Ingles.

Walgreens:
I didn't have a very pleasant experience at Walgreens, I was ready to knock the cashier out for being so rude to me!  Besides that it was a great trip for the most part. They were wiped out of several things I was wanting to get, but here is what I was able to grab. I done this in three transactions:

Trans 1 & 2 (they were exactly the same):

• 1 pkg Stayfree Maxi Pads, on sale for $2.99...Get $3 RR WYB 1, I also had $1/1 coupons, these coupons can be found on the Stayfree website

Total before coupons: $4.03
OOP: $2.23
PLUS I got back $3 in RR for each one! This is a GREAT deal even without coupons!!

Trans 3:

• 1 pkg Stayfree Maxi Pads $2.99, $1/1 Coupon
• 3 pkgs Juice Pops $0.59/each
• Tilex $2.50, $0.50 (on package)
• Greenworks Dish Detergen $2.50, had $1/1 Coupon (can be found on Greenworks website)

Total before coupons: $15.05
OOP: $5.94! I also used a $2/2 Walgreens coupon for the GW detergent & Tilex, I had planned to get 2 of the GWs detergents, but they only had 1 =(
PLUS I got back $3 in RR

So I spent a total of $10.40, but got back $9.00 in RR, so I really got everything (9 items) for $1.40!

Food Lion
This was a small trip, but it is the best I've ever done!  Both the cashier & bagger were amazed at how much I saved!

• 4 Palermos Pizzas Reg. $6.99/each, Sale BOGO, I had BOGO Coupons=FREE PIZZA!!!
• 2 2ltr. Cokes, Reg. 1.88, Sale BOGO, I had a $1/2 wyb $4 in Frozen foods coupon=$0.44/each
• 1 Dole Salad Mix, Reg. $2.79, Sale BOGO, I had $0.75/1 coupon=$0.65
• 1 Philly Cooking Cream Reg. $2.99, Sale 2/$4, I had $1.50/1 coupon=$0.50!
• 2 Country Crock Butter Sticks Reg. $2.78, Sale 2/$1.38, I had $1/1 coupon=$0.19/each!!

Total (before MVP & Coupons) $40.81
OOP: $2.89!!!!!!!! WOOHOO
Those Palermos pizzas are delicious, we had one for supper, of course they may have tasted better since they were FREE!!!! =)

Ingles:

• 2 Webber Season Grinders, $1.24/each, $1/1 coupons=$0.24/each!
• 2 Webber Marinates, BOGO @ $0.98/each=FREE!
• 2 Scotties Facial Tissue BOGO @ $1.28/each, $0.50/1 coupons, doubled to $1/1=FREE
• Rayovac 9V battery $1, $1/1 coupon (facebook)=FREE!
• 1 BestLife Butter BOGO @ $2.28, $0.50/1, doubled to $1/1=$0.14 (I wanted more of these, but they only had 1)
• 2 Excedrin Migraine $2.98, $1/1 coupons=$1.98/each
• 2 Kahik Frozen Egg Rolls BOGO at $3.98, $1/1 coupons=$0.99/each!!

Total (before Card & Qs): $30.53
OOP: $6.56!!

So today I got a total of $94.45 worth of groceries for only $19.85!!  That's about an 80% savings!!!
