Walgreens: My First "Crazy Coupon Lady" Coupon Haul

Walgreens is the first store I went to with my "crazy coupon lady" binder.  I had prepaired for the tip the night before, writting down all the deals I wanted to snag and deals I wanted to look at closer. The planning is what takes the most time, but it is so important to have a game plan.  Couponing is time consuming, but it's totally worth it!  Anyways, on with my first shopping experience...

I was EXTREMELY nervous when I walked into Walgreens with my big binder full of gold. After the first minute and a few odd glares, I came to the realization "Who is the crazy one??  They are for paying full price for products they can get cheap or FREE!"  I was in the store for about an hour, deciding which deals to get and what to get, etc. A very nice cashier told me of an incrediable deal in the cosmetics section, which I quickly ran to and embraced with open arms. (aside from my coupon addiction, I am also a makeup addict, but that's a whole other blog, lol).  Anyways the follow list is the products I purchased: (Sat. March 26)

• Comet Cleaner
• Huggies Diapers
• Colgate Toothpaste
• Colgate 360 Toothbrush
• Cleaning Gloves
• Almay Eyeshadow
• 2 M&Ms (12.6 oz)
• Dental Flossers
• Kiddy Tableware (a cute monkey plate I knew my son would love)
• 5 Tab Dividers

Total (before coupons): $44.28
Out of Pocket: $20.40 (that's over 50% savings!)

buttttt....and the best part about this....
I got back $7 in RR (register rewards)....which means I really only paid $13.40 (which means I paid about 1.28 for each item!)

Okay, so it was a SUPER saving deal, but I was very happy. Plus there were a couple things that I bought that I didn't have a coupon for (they were impulse buys, lol).  So I think I did great since it was my first coupon deal, and I did not have any built up RR.
