Lowes Food & Walmart Haul (4/3)

I picked up a couple things at Lowes Foods this weekend.  LF's doubles coupons EVERYDAY (up to .99 I think).  This past week they had a great deal on cereal, 2/$4...to make that deal even better, there were $0.55 off coupons that could be printed at www.couponnetwork.com.  Therefore each box of cereal was only $0.90...BUT to make that deal even better, if you sign up for their e-fresh rewards you could have gotten the cereal for 2/$3.  So anyway, he is what I got:

• 2 boxes Cinnamon Toast Crunch $0.40/box
• Tyson Chicken Nuggets $3.99
• 2 bags Chex Mix $1/bag

Total OOP (before tax) : $6.79!!

At Walmart I got some Spring flowers that were clearanced to $0.49 (even though they will die once it gets really hot, they are beautiful right now, and didn't cost me hardly anything).  I also got some makeup that was on clearance, it was the CQ brand.  I bought an eyeshadow for $0.50, 2 liquid eyeliners for $1, 2 lipliners for $0.75. 

Total OOP: $7.92
Product Value: (about) $30.00

So even though I did not have any coupons, I still got a heck of a deal!!  ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS check the clerance section!!  Sometimes you will even find things on clerance that you have a coupon for...which means a high end product for really cheap, or FREE!!

I also scored a tube of the Colgate Clincal Whitening Toothpaste at Dollar Tree.  This product usually retails for around $5.  So that's a pretty good deal!!
