3/30/11

Todays (3/30) Haul

It was a rainy nasty day today.  I had planned a trip to Rite Aid & CVS, but I kept being wishy washy all day. I did finally decide to get ready & get outta the house.  I leaned very quickly however that coupon shopping with a 2 1/2 year old is very difficult.  Anyway, our first stop was CVS. I was so excited about the deals on Stovetop Suffing, Clean & Clean Body Wash, & Olay products they had going on this week. I was so frustrated when I saw that all the main items I wanted were sold out. But luckily CVS issues RainChecks for products they are out of.  So I was happy knowing I could still get the deals I wanted. I did pick up a couple other items that were on sale.

  • 2 Bag Hangers (this was a clearance section find, they were regularly 2/$10, but they were 75% off, so I snagged the last two, one for me & one for my mom)
  • 2 10 ct. BIC razors
  • Halls Cherry Cough Drops
  • Cheez Its (My 2 year old grabbed these last two items)
  • Cookies
Total (Before Coupons): $23.83
OOP: $8.72
Plus I got $1 ECB (extra care bucks)

I did have $3 in ECB I could have used for this transaction, but I decided to save it for another time.

I recieved a very nice suprise at the end of my receipt...
a $4 off $20 coupon.  Which made me very excited that they didn't have the big ticket items I went in for.  Now I can get an extra 4 bucks off those!!

I also went to Rite Aid. I have only been in Rite Aid a couple times, but now I love it!!  I got some pretty good deals!!!

  • AJ Pancake Suryp
  • Goldfish Crackers
  • 9 Candy Bars Single Serves (M&Ms, Snickers, Twix)
  • 6 packs of Trident Vitality Gum (I got 4 packs of this free, and only paid .39 for the other 2 packs)
  • 2 Airwick Freshmatics
  • 2 Lysol Freshmatics
  • 2 24 ct. Stayfree Maxi Pads
  • 2 46 ct. Carefree Liners
  • Storage Container
  • Trial of RA diapers (2 pk)
Total (before coupons): $62.33
OOP: $25.96
+Up Rewards: $8.49

Therefore I technically paid 17.47 for 27 items, making them around .65 each!!

Addition Note:  The $5 back when you spend $15 in Lysol products is a reward that is NOT limited!  I already have $8 saved towards another $15 total.  So I'm printing some more coupons for the Airwicks and going back!  Those were on sale for $4.99 and I had a $4 off coupon, making them .99 each!!  The Lysol ones were more expensive at $6.99, but I had a $4 off coupon for those too, so they were only $2.99 each.

Thanks for reading.  God Bless & Happy Couponing!!!!
